* The kit form does require some tools and building knowledge. You will require basic hand tools, an impact driver or power screwdriver, drill and saw.  You will need to provide and install your own exterior door, frame or screen door.

How long does it take?
It typically takes us 1 to 2 days from start to finish. That time can vary depending on site conditions, weather, etc.
 
If you want a full 4 season greenhouse for 12 months of year, our 4 Season Upgrade adds an insulated north wall, 16mm triple wall polycarbonate and an insulated foundation wall.
 
The 4 Season upgrade includes:
Our Insulated North Wall is a full thickness, 1.5" barrier of Rigid Foam with a reflective insulation inside. It covers 1/4 of the dome, depending on the domes location and surroundings. This protects the dome from heat-stripping, chilly north winds and provides unmatched insulating value for a large part of the Dome's surface that never receives light anyways.
 
Our 2ft tall, fully insulated foundation wall is paneled in engineered siding and treated lumber for a long life. It keeps your inside perimeter beds warm, prevents frost from coming inside and adds an additional 2ft of height to the dome, making the sides taller, meaning more usable area, a sturdy foundation and additional insulating value where it's needed most. It also allows snow sliding off the dome in winter to accumulate and act as an additional insulating layer, rather than freezing to the panels.
 
The panelling we use is the industry's best, state of the art 16mm Triple Wall Polycarbonate with an insulating value of R2.8 and U0.40. It has 80% light transmission, unmatched impact resistance, 2 sided UV protection and a 10 Year Warranty. The polycarbonate is the most expensive part of the dome materials, accounting for over 1/3 the cost, but is also a major factor in providing the needed light, structure strength for snowloading and insulating values that make our 4 season domes possible.

When booking you pay a 50% deposit to hold the materials and date, and the other 50% upon completion.
