At 15ft tall and 22ft in diameter, this is our most popular sized dome greenhouse.

Small enough to be affordable and yet big enough for a winter tropical oasis or year round food production. It has plenty of height for tall tellises, rows of hanging pots or trees.

Extremely energy efficient and built for Saskatchewan winters. Our 22ft Geodesic Greenhouses, with a Ground to Air passive heating system, cost as little as $100 a month to heat for the coldest months of the year with just a 240V 20A Garage Heater. Fall and Spring cost from $20 to $50 a month or nothing depending on the weather. And the summer is completely self suffcient.

If you want a custom quote and site visit to discuss a 4 Season Geodesic Greenhouse to your property, feel free to book a free consult in our services section HERE.  We will come meet you on site and evaluate your needs, space and budget to put a quote together that suits your needs.

Newroots Geodesic Greenhouses combine multiple state-of-the-art passive solar heating techniques to produce one of the most energy efficient and insulated 4 Season Greenhouse available.

Our Insulated North Wall is a full thickness, 3.5" barrier of R15 Foam with a reflective insulation inside. It covers 1/3 or 1/4 of the dome, depending on the domes location and surroundings. This protects the dome from heat-stripping, chilly north winds and provides unmatched insulating value for a large part of the Dome's surface that never received light anyways.

Newroots In-Bed Heating/Cooling System keeps the inside raised perimeter beds warm, even in our -40 winter nights. And in summer is circulates hot air from the ceiling of the dome, through the beds, so the soil can absorb the heat, and blows the cool air out. Included with the addition of Perimeter Beds.

Our 2ft tall, fully insulated foundation wall is made entirely of treated lumber and decorative Engineered wood siding for a long life and includes vinyl drip sill, inside and outside, and decorative exterior panelling with vinyl corners. It keeps your inside perimeter beds warm, prevents frost from coming inside and adds an additional 2ft of height to the dome, making the sides taller, meaning more usable area, a sturdy foundation and additional insulating value where it's needed most. It also allows snow sliding off the dome in winter to accumulate and act as an additional insulating layer, rather than freezing to the panels.

The panelling we use is the industry's best, state of the art 16mm Triple Wall Polycarbonate with an insulating value of R2.8 and U0.40. It has 80% light transmission, unmatched impact resistance, 2 sided UV protection and a 10 Year Warranty. The polycarbonate is the most expensive parts of the dome materials, accounting for over 1/3 the cost, but is also a major factor in providing the needed light, structural strength for snowloading and insulating values that make our 4 season domes possible.

Newroots Thermal Mass Pond collects solar energy during the day and slowly releases that heat during cool evening or cloudy days.  It can be used to house fish, to feed hydroponic systems, for watering or just as a beautiful addition to your Dome Greenhouse.

Our domes have beautiful ponds. They are dug 1ft into the ground and extend above ground level 2 feet with treated plywood walls.  We also have a decorative Stackstone landscaping stone upgrade available.
